ABOUT US
Skyway Event Services is a full-service special event rental firm with the area's
best-looking, most complete inventory of equipment essential to your event's success:
Clearspan structures, staging, flooring, tables, chairs, and a variety of custom,
exclusive equipment. Our knowledgeable, professional staff delivers outstanding
service at all times.
HISTORY
Skyway Event Services started in 1988 in a garage with two
40x100 foot tents. Eventually that space would no longer contain the business and
" neighbors got tired of finding canvas covering their lawns and
driveways." The business has grown to support over 50 full-time and seasonal
employees and is now housed in a beautiful, ultra-modern facility in downtown Minneapolis.
FUTURE GOALS
Skyway Event Services has a "can-do" attitude. Our creativity and
sense for the unimaginable has taken the business to new heights. Skyway has done
it all - from turning a university running track into a concert arena, finding a company
in India to supply authentic hand-sewn, hand-painted tents for an Indian-themed event, to
creating a tented-environment for Olympic ice rinks and bobsled runs. The future of
Skyway Event Services is in its creativity; that is why we are the vendor-of-choice.
